Electric bikes

The capital of Croatia, Zagreb, continuously offers more bicycle routs, so, with an electric bike, you can easily enjoy the ride and see the whole city of Zagreb in the comfort of your seat. Electric bikes offer unique experience and are great fun and transport for people of all age !

Strong Li-ion battery provides a large range of 60-110 kilometres with only one charging (depends in which mode you drive).

The big advantage of using an electric bike is that you can drive it as a classical bike (without the help of electromotor) if you choose mode 0, or you can get helped by electromotor, with a mode from 1 to 5.

Electrical bikes are getting more popular every day, because, not only they are great transport, but driving them also gives you a unique feeling of comfort, fun and freedom …

Park Maksimir (oasis of peace)

Park Maksimir is one of the most beautiful parks in this part of Europe. It’s only a few minutes of walking distance from the apartment. Spread on the surface of 316 hectares are beautiful meadows, paths, streams and five lakes. The park also contains more than 100 species of birds and over 600 species of different plants.

The harmony of its sunny meadows, gorgeous treetops and long pathways for both cyclists and pedestrians are perfect for all of those who love nature and are seeking for peace and a break from everyday life. There are numerous of opportunities that park offers to its visitors, such as relaxing walks on beautiful pathways, Nordic walking, running and cycling. Plus, there are two modern playgrounds for younger visitors.

Also, park Maksimir has some monuments too. One of the most recognizable symbols of the park is Vidikovac (famous because of the scenes from the cult movie “Tko pjeva zlo ne misli”). The viewpoint is conceived as a two-story tower surrounded by two terraces where you can have a drink and enjoy the view of the park. Some of the monuments are also the Swiss House, Mogila, Echo Pavilion, Chapel of St. Jurja…

Maksimir is the first public park in south-eastern Europe, but also one of the first in the world. To Zagreb, park Maksimir is like Bois de Boulogne to Paris, Regents Park to London or Tiergarten to Berlin.

In the park, there’s also a zoo. It has over 270 animal species and over 2200 units from almost all continents. It was founded in 1925, making it the oldest zoo in south-eastern Europe.
